Faulty MCD64 ?

The Yamaha SY85 is a digital music workstation introduced in 1992. Unlike other Yamaha synthesizers of the time (SY77 and the SY99) the SY85 does not use FM synthesis. Instead, its sounds are based on samples, which can be layered and modified to create new sounds.

Faulty MCD64 ?

Unread post by Bishka » Thu Feb 09, 2017 2:25 pm

i have just got an MCD64, it was advertised as working but needed a new battery. I have tried two new batteries and the battery from another (working) card but I still get the "change battery" message and the card will not work.

Before I send the card back or ask for a refund I thought I would ask if anyone here has had the same problem.

Really useful, thanks for the link. I did do a search but could not find anything useful on faulty cards so I really appreciate the reply.
