I just got back on the board after an extended absence and find that I have to login every time I want to reply Strange.

Have you ticked the checkbox 'Remember Me' on Log-In :?: 0-) :D

You should not have to log in every time George. As Miks said, if you tick the "remember me" checkbox you should log in automatically.

You can also use something like lastpass.com which stores your passwords and can auto log you into sites...although don't use the auto feature for sites that have a captur or similar as you will end up going around in circles!
