I see this forum is no longer in existence at least according to my bookmark. Has it moved? Anyone have a new link?

I am sure it would help Chris if we subscribed to his channel I have. By the way how do you embed clips I seem to do on the Strat forum but not this one.

Embedding youtube clips:

Use the "Full Editor & Preview" button.

Copy the youtube link you want to use. (in this case: https://youtu.be/sqpUU-13Axo)

Press the "youtube" button and insert the CODE from the copied link: sqpUU-13Axo between the brackets.

SUBMIT, and you're good to go. :D

Hi Guys
Chris (SG Geek)
Problems with the host's programmes made it impossible for me to add or edit any information to the website so I decided not to renew my subscription with them. As Bill mentioned I hope in the near future to start it up again with a different host and expand it a little with info on other Yamaha guitars as well.
I'm going to produce some more videos for YouTube about Yamaha SG's as soon as my daughter figures out how to make me look younger and slimmer on screen.
In the meantime thanks to everybody for their support and help over the years.

Hey Chris. I can give you your own section/category here on the forum. Would save you paying for hosting and since this site is not dependent on any third party hosting it's a reliable way to keep your stuff online without worrying about hosting restrictions etc. Let me know if your interested and I will get it set up for you.

No worries there, the CONTENT is important, and compared to most of the tube-posters, your clips are worth watching.

Buzzard
Thanks
Saul
Also thanks that's a very kind offer and I would like to take you up on it.
How do I go about setting up the section/category? I'm a bit of a technophobe
Chris

Hi Chris

I'll set up the category, perhaps call it SG Geek or whatever you would like it called and then add the sections within it, again if you let me know what titles you want. I will then make you moderator of that category so you can look after it how you want to. Full support from the rest of us of course when/if you need it. Will be like having your own forum but without the hassle :)

Let me know and then I will get it all set up tomorrow.
